Stay Home and Read. Enjoy Three Free EBooks from Heather Burch’s Halflings Series

I hope all of you are healthy and doing well during this crazy time.

I’m still working full-time at my day job, but I don’t know for how long. Counties close to mine are issuing mandatory stay at home orders due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Most of the people I know are already staying home.

I’m staying home as much as possible in the evenings and on the weekends. I go to work and come straight home. I didn’t realize how busy I’ve been until my meetings and family dinners were all cancelled. The upside to that is I have time to reconnect with loved ones via social media and read again. I’m still writing, of course.

I’m blessed to have so many wonderful and talented friends. My Facebook feed is full of encouraging messages from people offering to help others where they can and provide uplifting thoughts to anyone who wants to read them. I’ve had friends offer to go to the store for those who are ill or in the high risk group. The love I’m seeing reaffirms my certainty that I’ve surrounded myself with the best of humanity.

As regular readers of Ozarks Maven know, I’m a writer. As I writer, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and form friendships with other writers. One of those writers is Bestselling Author Heather Burch. She writes both adult romance and young adult novels. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about her on April 7th and 9th because she’s agreed to be April’s Ozarks Maven Author Spotlight.

Heather is giving the world a wonderful gift in order to lift the spirits and alleviate the boredom of those folks who are practicing social distancing by staying home. She is giving away the first three books of her new Halfling series for the next few days. Here’s the link to the first book, Angel Born: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0828B9118. From there, you can download the first three Halflings books absolutely free.

I enjoy Heather’s work and can hardly wait to dive into these books. Halflings is a paranormal young adult series. Don’t fall under the false impression that this series isn’t a good read for adults, though. Young adult novels are entertaining for adults, too. Remember Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series? Exactly.
