Ozarks Maven is two years old! Time sure has flown. I didn’t even realize I had this special birthday this week until I changed my date stamp at work yesterday. Then it hit me. I’ve been blogging for two years.
I’ve written about a wide range of topics. I’ve told you about trips to museums, grocery store scores, awards I’ve won, how technology tends to leave me behind, and many other things. I’ve shared recipes, poetry, and helpful tips. I’ve shared how I try to search for the best deal on everything.
My boss says I’m all over the place with my topics. The fact is I write what my muse moves me to write. I think one of my friends explained it best when she spoke at a writers conference recently. She said, “Margarite blogs about her life.”
Ozarks Maven has been read in 50 countries and has nearly 9,000 views. That may not seem like many in comparison to major bloggers who have millions, but it’s a whole lot for this simple country girl.
My goal with Ozarks Maven is to bring you a little wisdom and a smile three times a week. I endeavor to remain positive and non-political in a volatile and political world.
Thank you for two wonderful years! I hope to bring you my seeds of wisdom and joy for many more years to come.
