I don’t know if words can adequately describe the euphoric feeling of the anticipation of your own book launch. While I’m still a ways from that joyful moment, myself, I have many good friends who have experienced that special occasion first hand. I had a small taste of that sweet anticipation with the release of Chicken Soup for the Soul: It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. My nibble was enough to make me want more. Lots more.
I have the honor of being friends with dozens of writers. Their work encompasses all genres. I know authors who have published over a hundred books each and authors who have yet to submit anything at all. My circle includes those who are Bestsellers as well as those who are still nurturing such dreams. We are all part of very special writing communities here in the Ozarks.
I will be interviewing one of those friends, S.V. Farnsworth, this Thursday about the upcoming release of her sweet romance novel, A Rare Connection. She has one other book published, which is an Epic Fantasy entitled Woman of the Stone.
I read an early draft of A Rare Connection a few years ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. She kindly sent me a copy of the finished book to read before her launch, and I’m loving it so far.
This book is a sweet romance that keeps you in suspense and provides a rare and informative glimpse into religion and how it plays a part in our everyday lives.
I’m looking forward to her interview, and I hope you are too.
