The Joplin Writers’ Faire, where I’m having my first book signing, is at the Joplin Public Library today! This is a very big deal for me. I’ll be selling three books, Chicken Soup for the Soul: It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, Legends: Passion Pages, and Anthology 2019 Sleuth’s Ink Mystery Writers. I’ve dreamed of such an event for years.
I was originally going to be sharing a book table with S.V. Farnsworth, but she emailed me a couple days ago with a change of plans. She’ll be sitting at the Joplin Writers’ Guild table, and I’ll be sharing a table with a new Guild member. It doesn’t matter who shares my table or I have it all to myself. The important thing is that I’m participating in this great event.
I know many of the amazing writers who are participating in Joplin Writers’ Faire. I attended as a reader last year, and I left with an armload of new books. When I realized that I’d be able to attend as a participant this year, I did a happy dance.
My latest publication, “Dollhouse” is published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. This book is heartwarming, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
If you’re looking for something with which to curl up on a chilly evening or a nice gift, I highly recommend this latest Chicken Soup for the Soul book. It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas can be purchased through my link, from me in person, your favorite brick & mortar stores, online retailers, and my favorite local bookstore, Always Buying Books.
I’d love to see you at the Joplin Writers’ Faire if you’re in the Joplin area today from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you’re an avid reader, this event will be lots of fun. Meeting authors has always been one of my favorite things.
I’ve scheduled a joint Chicken Soup for the Soul book signing with my friend, the talented Billie Holladay Skelley. We’ll be signing Chicken Soup for the Soul books on November 9, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Always Buying Books on North Main Street in Joplin, Missouri. Billie will also be at the Joplin Writers’ Faire today.
